How can I get started with RecruitLoop?

As an employer you can get started in a number of ways.

  • Post a role and engage an independent recruiter.
Post a hiring project, and receive proposals from the expert independent recruiters in our network. You can engage a recruiter for any part of the hiring process, as much or little as you need.
  • Start with a fixed hiring bundle.
Need help in a discrete hiring task, with guaranteed pricing? You can try a fixed hiring bundle, for a specific task across a range of recruitment activities. See: What are hiring bundles.
  • Setup video interviews of your candidates.
You can setup recorded video interviews of your own candidates, using our free recruitment platform. See: How do video interviews work.

What happens after I post a role?

You’ll receive proposals from recruiters who meet your brief, via email. From there, you can ask questions or setup a call with one or more recruiters. There is no cost or obligation until you ‘accept’ a recruiter’s proposal and they start working on your engagement.

How much will it cost me to use RecruitLoop?

The cost will vary depending on the scope of your project. You only pay for the agreed time a recruiter spends on your project (at an hourly rate), along with any external expenses like job ads.

There is no minimum cost, and you can agree to milestones for different stages of activity with your recruiter upfront. For example, an initial 5-10 hours of candidate sourcing. Then check in and discuss the next stage of a project.

You can see the actual cost of every recruiter’s recent projects on their profile. There is also a list of recent projects here.

Does RecruitLoop provide a candidate guarantee?

No. Candidate guarantees are typically provided by recruitment agencies who work on contingency (i.e., high fee on placement). RecruitLoop shifts recruitment to more of a professional service, with value-adding activities provided at every step. You could run 5-10 RecruitLoop projects and still have a lower overall cost than typical recruitment fees for a single role.

That said, client satisfaction is our #1 priority. Many recruiters do offer the RecruitLoop Service Guarantee, which is a guarantee of the quality of service you receive throughout a hiring project.

What happens if I don’t hire any candidates from my RecruitLoop project?

You will still pay your recruiter for the time invested in your project. This is obviously not a great outcome, but can sometimes be out of the recruiter’s control (e.g., a change to the project requirements). More importantly, they will have provided value throughout the process.

One way to think about this situation is to compare it to doing all recruitment internally. You (or your team) would be taking significant time during the hiring process. There’s real cost associated with this, also with no guaranteed outcome.

What is the RecruitLoop Service Guarantee?

This is an optional Guarantee provided by many recruiters in the network, related to the quality of service they provide. The guarantee is:

“If you’re not happy with the service provided by this recruiter in your project, you can walk away anytime in the first 10 hours with no cost”.

Please note that the guarantee only applies to their time, and not to any external expenses that may have been incurred on your project (e.g., a job posting). To claim the guarantee (which is rare!), we suggest you first discuss your dissatisfaction with your recruiter, and then contact support@recruitloop.com.

How does RecruitLoop maintain quality?

Quality of service provided to hiring companies is our #1 priority. We take several steps to ensure and maintain the quality of the client experience:

  • Upfront: Strict entry standards for all recruiters.
RecruitLoop only accepts recruiters with a minimum of 5-years professional experience. We verify all recruiters before their profiles are approved, and transparently report the additional steps each recruiter has voluntarily taken. See: What are Verification Steps.
  • Ongoing: Transparent reporting of recruiters’ performance and feedback.
You can view actual performance and feedback for every recruiter that has completed a project with RecruitLoop. We report statistics like the total cost of every project and unfiltered feedback from clients directly on the recruiters’ profile. In this way, the best recruiters are rewarded over time.
  • 24/7 client support.
You’re never on your own. Our support team (including our founders!) are on call at any time to help with specific questions. Contact us at support@recruitloop.com.

How and when do I pay for services?

You should agree on a payment schedule upfront with your recruiter. For example, payment can be linked to milestones or stages of the process. In some cases (especially first-time engagements), your recruiter may request prepayment of a small number of hours.

When your recruiter requests payment through the Platform, you’ll receive an email notification. You have several options to make payment:

  • Credit card
  • Paypal
  • Electronic funds transfer
In all cases, you can download an invoice from your Project Console.

What is a Virtual Recruiter?

A Virtual Recruiter is available to work in locations different from their physical location. Many RecruitLoop recruiters have extensive experience hiring outside their home city. When you search for recruiters in a city, we will also display recruiters who serve that location ‘virtually’. However, recruiter profiles make it very clear where they are physically located, so you always know in advance.

Can I engage more than one Recruiter to work on my vacancy?

You are certainly able to work with different RecruitLoop Recruiters on different projects. For example, you can engage a specialist sales Recruiter to work on a sales role and a technology specialist for a separate IT role. However, we do not recommend engaging multiple recruiters to work on the same project.
