Experience:
Sales recruiting is definitely a specialized area for recruiters. Coming from a background in sales myself, I know firsthand that a good sales recruiter must be able to understand the sales lingo, the unique persona you're attracting & engaging with, the remote work environment, the unique sales team culture, the very different commission/comp structure, and know how to articulate a great story to ultimately influence an outstanding salesperson to make a move. You also need to be able to properly assess quota-achieving talent, and evaluate the soft skills. I've really enjoyed recruiting for sales over the past 2 decades, as this is a completely different beast and a load of fun!
