In 2009 and 2010, I had the pleasure of working with Evan at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. During this period, he coordinated a workshop for business owners and practitioners that aide business owners and this event was quite a success. As one of the speaking panelists at this event, I was able to closely interface with Evan and witness his attention to detail and ability to properly market the event. In particular, he seems to have developed close ties with the owners of emerging, high growth businesses and I suspect his ability to size-up future leading enterprises will serve him well throughout his career.
Evan is an impressive talent. He volunteered to help us host a CrowdPitch event in Chicago and did an amazing job putting the details together. Not only did he help with the location and organization, he also leveraged his contacts to help fill the room. I was very impressed. Highly recommended!
I have been asked to speak at events all over the country on Family Business issues and Family Wealth. I have to say that Evan put together the best workshop at Morgan Stanley on Feb. 2010 I have ever been to in 20 years.
Evan put together a good financial innovation panel for TechWeek in Chicago. He sought me out to moderate the panel. We had a good discussion with some of the most innovative firms in finance. Post Tech Week, the Receivables Exchange was acquired by the NYSE.
Evan had a dligent work ethic and a positive attitude. He would be an asset at many organizations
Evan is one of the best cold callers and business developers I have ever known. His professional persistance is second to none.
Evan showed great leadership and organization skills while President of the Tulane Men's Ice Hockey team. Through Evan's work the schedule and budget were expanded helping to build the program into a success.
Evan and I worked together in the same division but different offices of Lucas Group. I always found Evan to be very responsive and he held a positive attitude. Evan was very enthusiastic about his work.
Evan works hard and pursues the goal -- whatever it is -- with tenacity and focus not typically seen in most people. (Supervised Evan's production of the FinTech panel at the Techweek 2011 Conference & Expo.)
Evan is a competitor. He's goal-oriented, drives results, and brings a can-do energy to the office. He's also self effacing, with a great sense of humor. Evan excels in growth environments, where his sales and business development instincts kick into over-drive.
I have known Evan for more than four years now and even helped him make the move into recruiting a few years ago. Recently, I had him help me with some of my recruiting, and he is persistent, creative and intelligent when it comes to sourcing and recruiting candidates. He is very motivated and professional, handles relationships with professionalism and tact, and is thoughtful about the recruiting profession. I would recommend Evan as a quality recruiter who could successfully work on a variety of different requisitions.
Quality recruiter, knows his stuff and great with the latest tools.
