Chris was instrumental in securing me an extremely beneficial contract with an employer in the Republic of Ireland. Despite it being initially for 6 months Chris was confident that it would get extended beyond that and he was absolutely correct. He was on the "preferred supplier" list for this particular company and I was the last in a long line of people he had placed there (they began 'downsizing' 2 years later) and was highly trusted by this global employer. Chris persuaded me to take on a freelance assignment at Huawei soon after the company arrived in Europe. It wasn't the easiest time as their organisation was only being put in place so Chris took a lot of the hassle away, from both sides. I must give credit where it's due because there were dealings with on-shore and off-shore managers to be taken care of and complex contract admnistration to be done. At one stage I thought Chris might even learn Chinese to make progress!

In truth, I found Chris to be a hard-working recruiter who goes the exra mile for hs freelancers as well as his clients. Unusually for the sector, he doesn't just match keywords but wants to understand the technologies and project details in order to make the very best match possible. Which is probably why I ended up serving nearly 7 years at Huawei across Europe on a variety of projects va Chris.
