Experience:
I led hiring at two Boston area start-ups in optical telecom devices which have both been acquired. Filled advanced level engineering roles at both which were early stage, critical hires. From Optical. EE, ME (design and FEA) and interdisciplinary roles. Experience:
I was a sourcer (researcher) through an intermediary supporting Continuum Health Partners, a management company that operated several hospitals in New York City. I was supporting recruiters with research and pre-screening candidates for a range of positions including CT Techs, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Lab Techs and Managers, Pharmacy Staff and managers. However I was not responsible for closing on those roles. Below represents positions I have been responsible for closing.

Experience:
My exposure to recruiting marketing people has come through past clients in the technology fields who have taken technology products to market. Due to my experiences with early stage companies, my network of marketing folks are not as large as my engineering and development network, but my contacts are high level, some now executives and C-level, making my secondary networks robust.

Experience:

Where I work...

Physically
Boston, Massachusetts
Virtually
United States: Boston, New England, New York, New Jersey, Silicon Valley, San Francisco Bay Area
Because many of my clients have been early stage and making critical hires, I have conducted many nationwide searches. Similarly, I have had some success in Silicon Valley as well while working on contingent work.

After being brought in as employee #22, Tom left Continuum staffed with 60 employees. While the majority of those numbers were engineers, he also hired two people on my executive staff. His efforts in helping the company attract quality talent while keeping costs low played a big role in the company being positioned to be acquired, which concluded in mid-2005.

Jeff Farmer CEO, Aegis Lightwave,
