Did you know that Phoenix is the United States’ fifth-largest city with a population of over 1.6 million? It is also the most populated state capital in the USA.

I’ve heard it’s usually pretty sunny in Arizona, but apparently Phoenix basks in sunshine more often than any other major metropolitan area in the U.S.

Another fun fact is that Greater Phoenix is home to more than 200 golf courses … oh and by land area, Phoenix is bigger than New York and Los Angeles.

But Phoenix is also home to some amazing recruiters, one of which was one of the very first to join the US Looper community when we launched the US business back in 2013.

Today we shine the Recruiter Spotlight on Jeff Daspit, veteran RecruitLoop recruiter from Phoenix, Arizona.

What’s your name?

Jeff Daspit

How long have you been a part of the RecruitLoop community?

I have been a member of the RecruitLoop family for over three years.

What were you doing before you met us?

I had just began my own enterprise venture in the form of a consulting company.

What is the best part, for you, of being a Looper?

I love the flexibility RecruitLoop offers for me; I can pursue a wide range of project types.

What RecruitLoop feature do you think is the most awesome?

Working with a variety of clients.

What is your funniest RecruitLoop moment?

Paul’s Facebook feed.

Why do you believe the RecruitLoop model works so well?

It allows recruiters to widen the scope of their industry experience.

What are your passions and interests outside work?

Doing volunteer work and my dogs, Jojo and Pancake.

What is something other Loopers may not know about you?

I love to cook and have a professional chef’s kitchen in my house.

What 5 words would your clients use to describe you?

Dedicated, tenacious, thoughtful, creative, and resourceful.

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?

Make education #1 as priority globally.

If you could have dinner with five famous people (alive or dead) who would they be and why?

Honestly, I’m not impressed by fame. Of those “famous” people who I would want to meet, they would probably be in the music field, as I believe that music ignites the light in the soul.
