Ah … office meetings. You either love ‘em or you hate ‘em. Right?
I once had a manager who would sit at the head of the table every Monday morning and the first words out of her mouth were “Okay, people. A fast game’s a good game, so let’s make this one snappy!”
While we were always done within 30 minutes, it often felt extremely rushed with important matters being swept right under the carpet. On the other hand, I have also taken part in meetings that were still going two hours later, discussing things that really didn’t need to be raised with the whole team present.
Meetings about meetings. Argh!
