Refer A Client, We Donate To Charity

Every great business is built on word of mouth growth. When you receive a great service, you talk about it. When you provide one, you hope your customers and clients share their experience.

We’ve seen this first-hand, with referrals driving a huge proportion of our growth at RecruitLoop. Almost everyone has experienced pain during the hiring process – whether as a client, candidate, or recruiting professional. So our vision for a new recruiting model, that’s fair for everyone involved, resonates with almost everyone who experiences it. Read More…

Happy Holidays From RecruitLoop

He’s making a list … and checking it twice; Gonna find out who’s naughty and nice. Santa Claus is coming to town“!

Children all over the world will be singing these words over the next few days as they eagerly await what the fat man in the red suit will leave for them under the tree.

However Santa is certainly not the only one making a list at this time of the year. Read More…

The RecruitLoop team is always trying to come up with new and interesting ways to engage with our community of recruiters. We recently launched a Slack Community, exclusive to our Verified Recruiters, and we are using Slack as a way to keep them up to date on all things RecruitLoop.

We’ve also been generating tons of community discussions on our weekly Recruiter Community Q&A calls. They are “live-slacked” so to speak, and we recently had our very first “Ask Me Anything” event. Read More…

What I Wish I’d Known at the Beginning of 2014

What I Wish I’d Known at the Beginning of 2014

It’s becoming a bit of a tradition.

It started off in 2012 as a way for me to help break the ice at the plethora of Christmas parties and networking events I went along to.

Then last year I took it up a notch and assumed the role of a quasi vox pop commentator to help me gather my material.

Maybe it’s the wannabe ‘talk show’ host in me, but I actually like talking to complete strangers and I think catching people off guard is fun. So I thought I’d do it again.

Of course I also asked a few close friends to help out. But I asked everyone exactly the same question. Read More…

5 Tips to Make Your New Year Resolutions Actually Happen

5 Tips to Make Your New Year Resolutions Actually Happen

Failure is not an option.

It’s a new year and if you’re like most people, you’ve probably made a bunch of resolutions – I know I have. Get fit, lose weight, give up alcohol, give up smoking, spend less, fall in love and be kinder are some of the most popular.

In fact about half of the population in both America and Australia make New Year resolutions. But according to the University of Scranton, published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology, only about 8-12 % of us actually achieve them. I admit I am one of the 88%. In fact I don’t think I have ever achieved a single resolution that I have made during the euphoric period of seeing an old year out and a fresh, un-blotted, unstained new one in. Despite this, I, and most of us, keep doing it. People are, after all, mostly optimistic. Read More…

2014 in RearView

2014 in RearView

Where did the year go!? The last few months of 2014 feel like a blur of footy finals, Thanksgiving, and bad facial hair. And companies hiring. Always hiring.

2014 was a massive year for RecruitLoop, in our journey to transform recruiting and make hiring easy. I want to say a heartfelt thanks to everyone who played a part in it: our Clients, Community, investors, advocates. And especially to our team (and their families), who worked tirelessly throughout the year to make it all possible.

Before we launch into the new year, a quick pause to reflect and celebrate 2014, in the rearview. Read More…
